This supersize decorative basket with lid is perfect to store laundry, or can simply be used as a statement accent piece. It has been designed and handcrafted by a community of female artisans in Bali, using 100% organic lontar leaf. 
This piece also comes in charcoal.

Story

A group of around twenty women weave these baskets from their homes; the youngest of the community is forty-three years of age. It is a time-consuming process that requires a lot of skill. Natural lontar leaf is used for the lightest colour, whereas mud is used to create the brown tones. For black, the leaves are steamed with teak.
