It took almost four months for the master artisans in Kutch, Gujarat to construct this one-of-a-kind Rabari quilt (or 'ralli'). The fabric is hand dyed and block printed with natural dyes before being cut and arranged into playful patterns. Finally the pieces were meticulously stitched together to create this beautiful heirloom piece.
This quilt has been designed to cover a single bed however it can also be used to dress a king or superking.

Story

Rallis were traditionally used by nomadic families to protect them from the elements and harsh conditions of the desert. Over time, the quilts became a symbol of cultural identity and heirloom pieces that were passed down from generation to generation. This one-of-a-kind quilt was hand-sewn by the female master artisans from a social enterprise that works to preserve traditional arts and crafts, including the use of natural dyes.

Care & Longevity

We recommend dry cleaning or cold washing by hand. Please note colours may bleed following initial wash. Do not tumble dry.
