Our rectangular placemats are handwoven by a community of skilled artisans in Bali who use locally sourced atta grass. Atta grass is appreciated for its sustainability, durability and water resistance - making these perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. There are six placemats in each set.

Story

Atta grass (some times spelt Ata grass) grows indigenously in Bali and is similar to rattan. Our products are 100% natural and handmade by a community of skilled artisans in a small village of Karangasem. The lengthy process involves collecting the raw material, intricate weaving, sun-drying and smoking in an outdoor oven.
